BIB J40: Troubleshooting: No Water While Scrubbing
Troubleshooting No Water Coming Out When Scrubbing
Dust can collect in the small water release holes beneath the robot when the scrubbing function is not used consistently. This can cause the holes to clog not allowing water through.
Step 1: Clean the Water Release Holes
- Remove the dirty water tank and clean water tank.
- Close the robot.
- Remove the squeegee.
- Follow steps 1-2.
- GENTLY lay the robot on its side.
- Clean the water release holes.
- To do this, insert a small tip into each hole (6) and softly move it around to try to unclog it.
- The tip of a safety pin or small paper clip works.
- GENTLY move the robot back to its upright position.
Step 2: Run a Water Debug Test
- Click "More" on the main robot screen.
- Click "Debug Mode."
- In the "Valve" tab, turn on the "Sweep and Scrub Roller Brush Water Valve" toggle.
- In the "Pump" tab, drag the dot under "Remove Clean Water Pump" to the right to increase the water percentage.
- This will allow water to flow out of the bottom of the unit.
- Leave this on for 10-15 seconds.
- Drag the dot back to the left to make the percentage zero again.
- Go back to the "Valve" tab and turn off the toggle that was turned on before.
- Put the robot in Manual Mode and move it.
- Is there water underneath robot?
- If yes, the problem should be fixed. The robot can be ran normally.
- If no, repeat Step 2: Run a Water Debug Test 1-2 more times.
- If there is still no water coming out, contact Prospera Robotics support.
